ABOUT UNIVERSITY OF YANGON SWIMMING CLUB

Born to Compete

Our Swimming Club is one of the sport clubs of Yangon University, located in

Myanmar, is formed and kept going by Yangon University students.

This club is established in July 2019 and keeps running till now.

OUR TARGET - We mainly intend the students who love to swim in

University.

PURPOSE - In Myanmar, swimming sport is not very interested like the others.

Therefore, our Swimming Club created with new generations like university

students, wants to help as much as we can and we want to support the students

who really love to swim.

The one who is currently in charge is MG PYAE PHYO PAING who is

attending third year honors, Geology.

Our club is running with three groups - formation, management and finance.

In office teams and members, there are many students from different majors

including Mathematics, Physics, Law, English, Geology, etc and as an average,

there are 40 students.

We choose every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for swimming training. At

present, although we can hold only Yangon University swimming competitions,

as contestants, we hope that there will be more competitions in future.
